AustinUP is hosting a free expo to match available job opportunities with workers who are 55 and older. It will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Westminster Senior Living, 4100 Jackson Avenue in Austin. (Complimentary valet services provided.) It will be the first in a series of job fairs AustinUP is planning in 2017 to help potential employees connect with employers located in or close to their neighborhoods.
Exhibitors will include employers looking for talented full- and part-time workers or contractors. Attendees will include older adults eager to talk to potential employers, as well as knowledgeable speakers who will give presentations during the event. Employers attending the February event include UberEats, Right at Home, TMF Health Quality Institute, Peak Performers Recruiting and Staffing, HAND (a Division of Meals on Wheels Central Texas) – and more!
